Eric Schroeder is one of the only people in the US who can craft a truly custom masonry heater that performs as if it has been engineered in a lab. He’s been involved in masonry heater testing at Myron Labs in Washington State, and worked as part of a small group of professionals drafting the now adopted ASTM masonry heater testing standard.
He has studied every school of design used in the US; unsatisfied He travelled to Europe where the system he now uses was compiled. His study of stoves from around the world gives him a uniquely broad pallet of tools to design stoves to fit any situation on any budget.
He is currently developing a line of small, inexpensive masonry heaters in order to make this wonderful technology accessible to those without the means for his site specific stoves.
His goal in working with masonry heaters is to give glory to God through the relationships and projects that God gives him through Radiant Masonry Heat.
